Funeral services were held June 22, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home
Chapel for Mr. Daniel Brown, 59, who died June 11, 2019, at his
residence. Burial followed in Mt. Zion M. B. Church cemetery.  Johnson
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Daniel Brown was born to the late Rachel Fox and Willie Brown.
He attended Prentiss High School and was a member of Prentiss First
Baptist Church.
He was married to Stephanie Scoot and to this union four children were
born.  He enjoyed working on lawn mowers.
He was preceded in death by wife, Stephanie; four brothers, Jimmie
Brown, Robert Brown, Oliver Brown and James L. Brown; nephew, William
Ball. He is survived by: two sons, Daniel (Christina) of Japanand
Frank Brown of Magee; two daughters, Sophia Applewhite of Prentiss and
Elizabeth (Janir) of Collins; two brothers, Willie and John Brown both
of Prentiss; two sisters, Esadora and Eddie Brown both of Prentiss;
eight grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
