Jefferson Davis County investigators recovered several stolen ATVs in
the woods just off Springhill Church Road. Also recovered was a truck
stolen out of Covington, Louisiana and an air conditioning unit from
Mt. Olive. Both of those items were discovered at 813 Granby Road in
Prentiss. Deputies arrested Wayne Deandre Blackwell of Mt. Olive and
charged him with receiving stolen property. The Jefferson Davis County
Sheriff’s Department was able to retrieve these items with the
assistance of an ATV and trailer belonging to the Prentiss Police
Department. “We would like to give special thanks to the Town of
Prentiss for the use if their equipment,” said JDC Undersheriff T.C.
