Funeral services were held July 13, 2019, at Christ Temple Church of
Christ Holiness in Oakvale for Master Cayden Jamal Lockhart, 1, who
died July 6, 2019, in Jefferson Davis County.
Rev. Maxie Lowe Jr. officiated with burial following in the church cemetery.
Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Master Cayden Lockhart was born to Alexis Barefield and Christopher
Lockhart in Hattiesburg. He loved to dance, swim, sing, play and watch
Paw Patrol on television.
He touched so many lives during his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by: uncle, Aaron J. McClendon.
He is survived by: parents, Alexis Barefield and Christopher Lockhart;
grandmothers, Valerie Bourne (Perry Bryant) and Annette Lockhart;
aunts, Ashley McClendon (Cadarell Daniels), Christian Pompy, Amari
Gary, Joelisa Lockhart and Nyla Lockhart; uncles, Alfonso McClendon
(Jaclyn Dazzen), Jordan Lockhart, Tevin Lockhart and many other
relatives and friends.
