Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019 at Mt. Zion M. B. Church for Mr. Jerry Pace, 68, who died Monday, Aug. 5, 2019 at his residence.

Rev. Ozell White, pastor, officiated with interment following in the Pace Cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jerry Pace was born to the late M. L. and Maxine White Pace in Prentiss.  He joined Mt. Zion M. B. Church at an early age and graduated from J. E. Johnson in 1969 and enlisted in the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Pace; four brothers, Melvin Pace, Bonnie Pace, Charles Pace and Milton Pace.

He is survived by brothers, Martin Pace of Columbia, Georgia; Larry Pace of Prentiss; Paul (Debbie) Pace of Anderson, South Carolina and Johnny Lee (Gishela) of Germany.
