Funeral services were held July 29, 2019, at Wooman Hill M. B. Church, Flora, Mississippi for Mr. Benjamin Franklin Stutts III, 75, who died July 22, 2019, at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Rev. Alan Willis, pastor, officiated with interment following in Garden Memorial Park Cemetery in Jackson. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Benjamin Stutts III was born to the late George and Zelma Stutts. He was an alumnus of Lanier High; attended Southern University, Alcorn State University and Jackson State University. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Mr. Stutts was a member of New Mount Zion M. B. Church and later joined Jones Chapel M. B. Church, Flora, Mississippi where he was a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Stutts; ten children and two stepchildren; Jennifer Stutts and Jeff Stutts of Jackson, Benjamin Stutts of Atlanta, Georgia, and Brian Stutts of Utah, Anthony Stutts and Marlon Stutts of Jackson, Dino Stutts of Batesville, Terazita Stutts of Dallas, Texas, Michelle Stutts of Atlanta, Georgia, Cassandra Stutts, Jason Stutts and Carolyn Stutts all of Jackson; sister, Gussie Stutts; many other relatives and friends.
