Febra Kaye Graves

Funeral services were held Aug. 17, 2019, at Sweetwater C.M.E. Church for Miss Febra Kaye Graves, 55, who died Aug. 12, 2019, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Rev. Jason McLeod officiated with interment following in the Owen Griffith cemetery in Bassfield. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Febra Graves was born to the late Percy Harper and Herdie Graves in Laurel. She was a member of Sweetwater C.M.E. Church and remained until her death. She was a 1982 graduate of Bassfield High School and later furthered her education at Pearl River Community College. Miss Graves worked at KLH Industries where she was a supervisor, Sanderson Farms and Prentiss Complex.

She was preceded in death by: maternal siblings, Annie P. McLeod, paternal siblings, Jeanette Sims, James Harper and Ray Harper; maternal grandparents, Hulon and Annie M. Graves, nephew, Rev. Mario Graves.

She is survived by son, Byron Graves of Lawrenceville, GA; maternal siblings, Hulon Graves and Mildred (James) Price; paternal siblings, Brunette Reese, Annette McGee, Rosetta Booth, Cassie Reese and Parlee Harper; many other relatives and friends.
