Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at Mt. Zion M. B. Church for Mr. Christopher Holloway, 49, who died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at his residence.

Rev. Ozell White, pastor, officiated with interment following in Mt. Carmel Church of God in Christ Cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Christopher Holloway was born in Jefferson Davis County to the late Herman Holloway Jr. and Mrs. Dewyne Holloway.

He attended J. E. Johnson School and was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of God in Christ.

He worked for the New York Police Department.

He is survived by his mother, Dewyne Holloway of Prentiss; sisters, Jean Holloway of Hattiesburg, Vivian Strickland of Mt. Olive, Bonnie Grant of Prentiss and Virginia Holloway of New York; brothers, Kermit Gray and Herman Holloway Jr. both of Prentiss and special friend, Cassandra Norwood.
