Strickland wins Jefferson Davis County Sheriff’s race

Ron Strickland will serve another four years as  the Jefferson Davis County Sheriff. Strickland defeated Independent candidate Henry Allen McCullum 2,329 votes to 1,642.

Charles Wayne Reid will continue as District 2 Supervisor. Reid received 566 votes, to challenger Joe Kerley’s 241. District 5 Supervisor Bobby Rushing will also remain in office defeating Willie Derel Williams 493 votes to 257.

Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Barnes  will remain on the Justice Court Judge Post 1 bench. Barnes defeated Kurtyne Reimonenq Youngblood 983 votes to 932.
