The Jefferson Davis County Soil and Water Conservation District cordially invites all citizens to an evening of fellowship and fun on Nov. 19, at 7 p.m.
The banquet will take place at the Bethany Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 617 Columbia Avenue in Prentiss.
This will be the 50th annual membership meeting and banquet. This year’s entertainment will be Calm Assurance.
The purpose of this annual membership meeting and banquet is to recognize individuals who contributed to the management of our natural resources and to give thanks to those who have supported this organization throughout the year.
Jefferson Davis Soil & Water Conservation District would like to invite citizens to become a member of the conservation team.
Membership will help provide many conservation services to all areas of the county.
In recruiting members the our annual membership drive, all citizens are urged to get involved with the conservation of our natural resources.
The fee for membership is $35 for an associate membership and $70 for an affiliate membership.
This will include a one-year membership in the County and State Association of Conservation Districts, a one-year subscription to the county district’s quarterly newsletter, and a seat for you and a guest at the upcoming annual membership meeting and banquet.
