Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Alvon Levon Randolph Jr., 47, who died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Rev. Robert Collins officiated with interment following in the Oatis Family Cemetery in Prentiss. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Alvon L. Randolph Jr. was born to Levon Randolph Sr. and the late Brenda Myers in Trenton, NJ. He attended Rose Hill M. B. Church and later served in the United States Army.

He relocated to Mississippi and lived with his grandparents, the late Joecephus and Gustavia Randolph for many yers.

He worked at Dirt Cheap in Prentiss, and later married Nora Conley and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by his wife, Nora Randolph of Prentiss; four children, Mecca McNeil of Trenton, New Jersey; Alexis Randolph of Vicksburg; Alvon Randolph of Gulfport and Adam Randolph of Prentiss; five grandchildren; father, Levon Randolph and step-mother, Betty Bethea of Trenton, New Jersey; three sisters, Cynthia Good of Silver Creek; Melinda Miller and Nita Neely of Gastonia, North Carolina; two brothers, Wayne Wiggins of Gastonia, North Carolina and Telli Hobbs of Birmingham, Alabama and many other relatives and friends.
