Funeral services were held Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Prentiss First Baptist Church for Mr. Corey “Dubsack” McInnis, 43, who died Sunday, March 8, 2020, at his residence. Rev. Ronald Barnes officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Corey McInnis was born to the late Kendall Williams and Mrs. Rosalyn McInnis-Newton in Hattiesburg. He attended Harmony Baptist Church and graduated from Prentiss High School. He worked at Howard Industries and Walmart Distribution Center and currently Carpentry.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John H. McInnis; John H. and Bernice Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa McInnis; children, DaQuon Hubbard of Magee; Kendall McInnis, Demario Bass, Tyesha Sands all of Prentiss; mother, Rosalyn Newton of Prentiss; maternal grandmother, Jessie McInnis; brother, Christopher (LaShunna) McInnis of Clinton; sister, Jennifer Barnes of California; mother-in-law, Emma (Donald Earl) Collins of Prentiss; father-in-law, Moses (Ann) Hinton of Bassfield and many other relatives and friends.
