Gary Longino

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Gary “Wolf” Longino, 56, who passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Rev. Leroy Brown officiated with interment following in Springhill Church Cemetery.

Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gary Longino was born to the late Mamie Lee Longino and James Hicks. He joined Springhill M. B. Church at an early age, he later joined Old Hopewell Baptist Church, Hot Coffee, Mississippi and remained until his death. He attended J. E. Johnson Elementary and Prentiss High School.

Mr. Longino worked at Sanderson Farms and Rutland Lumber in Collins.

He enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Haylee Easterling; nine siblings, Mary N. Wells, Fannie R. Bryant, Frankie B. Crosby, Marie Lee, Alien Crockett, Kenneth Hicks, Robert Hicks, Vicky Hicks and James Hicks Jr.

Mr. Longino is survived by his wife, Mary Keys Longino; two sons, Fiez Easterling and Dontavius Keys; two daughters, Peulora Easterling and Ashley Easterling; four grandchildren; nine sisters, Patricia (Christopher) Longino, Latrenda Longino, Carolyn Longino, Glinda Longino, Eloise (Lorenzo) Longino, Evonne Rhodes, Wyvonne Hicks, Jeanetta Hicks, all of Prentiss; six brothers, Kenneth (Alileana) Longino of Montgomery, Texas, Pisces Longino of Bronx, New York, Phil Longino of D’Lo, James Hicks and Carl (Lisa) Longino both of Prentiss; Frank Hicks of Louisiana; Jerry Hicks of Jackson and many other relatives and friends.
