There are now 80 cases in Jefferson Davis County and three deaths according the Mississippi State Department of Health website Tuesday  morning. This is an increase from last week’s numbers of 74 cases and two deaths.

“Shelter-in-place is the only way to halt a spike. Please continue to practice social distancing and protect yourself by wearing a mask and gloves, as well as using hand santizer,” said Ragsdale.

All county offices are now open and fully staffed. Those needing to conduct county business are asked to wear a mask when entering a county building.
