The 2020 Jefferson Davis County Tax Lien Sale will be conducted exclusively online.

The auction will begin on Aug. 31 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and will continue each subsequent day until all parcels have been offered for sale.

The sale will be a live bid auction hosted at www.govease.com/auctions.

Online registration began July 30 at www.govease.com/auctions. After registration, payment must still be arranged and registration verified with the county. This must be done prior to any bidding.

Daily webinar training sessions will be hosted on the auction website www.govease/com/help.

Those that don’t have a device at home can go to the Board of Supvervisor’s Office Aug. 10 for assistance. “We will only be able to take a few at a time, so please be prepared to wait.”

Land, mobile home and personal property taxes not paid by July 31 will be published in the Aug. 5 edition of The Prentiss Headlight.
