Graveside funeral rites for Martha Faye Speights were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, at the Hathorn Cemetery.

Ms. Speights was 79 years of age and passed away from this life on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, in Prentiss. Rev. Randy Garner officiated.

Saulters Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Martha Faye Speights was born on Nov. 25, 1948, in Carson to Malcolm Speights and Willie Agnes Polk Speights. Ms. Speights was a longtime employee of Wendy’s and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one sister, Rebecca Robinson; an infant brother and her brother, Harry Speights.

Survivors include her two sisters, Kitty Berteau (Gary) of Carson and Susan Todd of Hattiesburg; one sister-in-law, Faye Speights of Mooresburg, Tennessee; six nephews and two nieces; as well as a host of great-nephews and great-nieces, other relatives and friends.
