Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Eva Mae Stringer, 87, who died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2020, at her residence. Rev. Henry Fortenberry officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Eva Mae Stringer was born to the late Wade and Pearl Haynes. She was a member of China Lee Baptist Church in Silver Creek. She was married to the late Fred Stringer.
Mrs. Stringer was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen Daughtry; son, Kelen Daughtry; grandchildren: Felicia Haynes, LaShonda Harris and LaTonya Harris-Fox; and Sylvester Harris; one sister, Ruby Shelton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
