Mr. Lloyd Anthony Hawthorne, 63, of Prentiss, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital.  He is the son of the late Cleveland and Hazel Hawthorne and was a graduate of Prentiss High School.  After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army.

Mr. Hawthorne was married to Miss Juanita Thomas.  He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Hawthorne of Prentiss, MS; daughters, Sylvia Hawthorne and Amber Hawthorne both of Magee; Sharpiro Thomas of Hattiesburg; son, Darrell Thomas of Texas; brother, Gary Hawthorne of D’Iberville; sister, Annie Katherine Hawthorne of Indiana; 13 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
