Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for Miss Gloria Nell Rogers,49, who died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss.  Rev. Aaron Thompson officiated with interment following in the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Gloria Nell Rogers was born to Darlene Rogers and Oliver Rogers.  She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and was a 1988 graduate of Prentiss High School.

Her employment included:  dietary nutritionist for many years at Forrest General Hospital and most recent employment was with Sanderson Farms in Collins.

She is survived by her parents, Darlene Rogers of Columbia and Oliver (Alma) Rogers of Monticello, her children; LaKosha (Joey) Quarles of Brookhaven, Jamekia Rogers of Prentiss, Lewis Rogers of Hattiesburg, and Delashaenia Warner of Prentiss, two brothers, Louis Martin and Torrance Rogers of Prentiss, three sisters, Mary Drummond of Oakvale, Shelita Fisher of Columbia, Tiffany Rogers and Kimberly Grandberry of Monticello, five grandchildren, two Godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
