A camper fire closed down a portion of Hwy 84 East in Prentiss Monday afternoon. A call came in to the Prentiss Fire Department just after 5 p.m. When firefighters and deputies arrived, the driver of the Nissan truck pulling the camper left the scene. Authorities were able to get a tag number, which is registered to a different make and model vehicle.
