Graveside services were held Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at St. James Baptist Church in Oma  for Mr. Willie Martin, 78, who died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2020, at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Willie Martin was born to the late R. D. and Hattie Martin. He was a member of St. James Baptist Church in Oma.

He is survived by brother, Harry Newsome of Mary Ester, Florida; sisters, Linda Green of Hattiesburg; Savannah McKinly and Doris Anderson both of Pittsburg, California; Dortha Dent of Atlanta, Georgia and Sally Newsome of Hattiesburg.
