Graveside service were held Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, at Booth Cemetery in Bassfield, for Mrs. Maeola Hall, 94, who died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg.

Rev. Alton Carson officiated with Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Maeola Hall was born to the late Ross and Amanda Booth Hall in Prentiss.

She joined Progress Baptist Church and later joined Mt. Bethel Ministries Church where she served as a member of the Mother Board until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Harper; four brothers, Leroy Hall, Leross Hall, Alex Hall and C. Allen Hall; two sisters, Atharyn Felix and Kathryn Hall.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her son, Allen (Mary) Hall of Bassfield; three grandsons, Deron (Cynthia) Hall of Hattiesburg; Tedrick (Stacy) Hall of Bassfield and Gregory (Roseleana) Harper of Collins; six granddaughters, Patricia (Carsie) Newsome, Martha Moye and Vickie Martin all of Bassfield; Kathy (Shelly) Russell of Columbia; Stacey (Johnny) Donaldson of Byram; and Tracey (Clarence) Bryant of Mansfield, Texas; 20 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
