There will be a Veterans Day Program Nov. 11 in Prentiss.

The program will begin at 10 a.m. and will be held in the Longleaf Trace Park on Front St.

“We ask that everyone please wear a mask,” said Jefferson Davis County Veterans Service Officer Joe Bridges.

All JDC county offices will be closed on Veterans Day, as well as Prentiss and Bassfield City Hall, Regions and Hancock Banks and all post offices in the county.

The Nov. 11 edition of The Prentiss Headlight will be delivered on Tuesday.
