Severe weather possible in JDC today

According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, isolated severe storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and hail up to quarter size are possible across portions of central Louisiana and southern Mississippi today, including Jefferson Davis County. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
Wind gusts of 40-50 mph will be possible through early this afternoon over portions of northeast Louisiana, southeast Arkansas, and west and central Mississippi. Wind gusts of 30-40 mph will be possible elsewhere through mid morning. These wind gusts may down trees and large limbs.
Jefferson Davis County is currently under a Flash Flood Watch until 7 p.m. March 25.
