Head Start now accepting applications

Five County Child Development Program, Inc. is currently accepting applications for Head Start children ages three and four for the 2021-2022 program year.

Head Start services are provided at no cost to families that qualify.

Children and families experiencing homelessness, children in foster care or disabled will be given first priority for Head Start.

All other children who are four or three-years old will be considered.

Parents and/or guardians are required to provide the following information:

The child’s proof of birth date, the child’s immunization (up-to date shot) record on a 121 form, the child’s Medicaid or insurance information, proof of residency and the family’s proof of income for the previous 12 months.

Also necessary is a statement or Healthcare plan from a doctor if your child has a food allergy or a chronic medical condition such as asthma or diabetes and a current Individualized Education Plan IEP/ IFSP if the child has a           diagnosed disability, if applicable.
