Danny “Flop” Spears has been located and is safe.

Local officials used a drone from MEMA and located Spears in the woods between the Lions Club Community Center and the old bypass in Prentiss.

Spears was transported to the Jefferson Davis Community Hospital to be checked, but did not appear to be harmed.

Spears went missing this morning just after 7 a.m. from his residence at 1662 Magnolia Drive in Prentiss.

Law enforcement officials began searching for Spears around noon.
