The Hancock Whitney Bank suspect is in custody after an all-afternoon search in the area. Eric Boykin of Gulfport was arrested and taken into custody behind the Department Human Services building at 1185 Frontage Road in Prentiss after K-9 units alerted officers of his location.

Boykin was charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon carrying a concealed weapon and was booked into the Jefferson Davis County jail.
