Electrical courses to be taught in JDC through PRCC

Pear River Community College Workforce Education will be starting electrical courses in Jefferson Davis County.

Classes will begin in August and be held at the Dennis W. Fortenberry Career Center in Carson. Electrical 1 will be held on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. beginning Aug. 17. Electrical 2 will be held on Thursdays from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. beginning Aug. 19. The courses will conclude in May 2022.

The cost for the course is $500, but financial aid might be available.
