Jefferson Davis and Marion General Rural Health Clinics have obtained the Pfizer vaccine which has emergency use approved for administration to individuals ages 12 to 17.

“It is the only one of the three thus far to have approval for that age group,” said Jefferson Davis Community Hospital Administrator Alania Cedillo.  Both clinics will have special appointment times available for this patient population starting Aug. 5.

Those appointments are every Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
