Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Scott “Tim” Gatwood were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, at New Chapel United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Gatwood, age 35, passed away from this life on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, in Prentiss.  Rev. Ken Hickman officiated. Interment followed in New Chapel Cemetery.

Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jonathan Miller, Isaac Anderson, Nathan Jackson, Colby Graves, Blake Graves and Brad Delk.

Timothy Scott Gatwood was born on April 4,1986, in Collins to Guy Anthony Gatwood and Kathryn Green Gatwood.  Tim was an installer for Graham Pool in Collins. He loved his children and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by one son, Preston Gatwood and one brother, Anthony Gatwood.

Tim is survived by his wife, Jezreah (J. I.) Lowery Gatwood of Seminary; three sons, Dylan Gatwood, Gatlin Gatwood and Gunner Gatwood, all of Prentiss; one daughter, Timberline Gatwood of Prentiss; one sister, Jennifer Miller of Prentiss; two brothers, Brian Anderson of Hattiesburg and Danny Anderson of Forest; his parents, Guy and Kathy Gatwood of Prentiss and paternal grandmother, Ann Davis of Columbia.

Visitation was Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021 from 6 until 9 p.m. at New Chapel United Pentecostal Church.
