Graveside services were held Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at North Silver Creek Baptist Church in New Hebron, for Mr. Donald Earl Minor, 60, who died on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at Ashbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Rev. Minor officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Donald Minor was born to the late Johnny and Josie Minor. He was a graduate of Prentiss High School. He worked at Sanderson Farms, Boswell Regional Center, Magnetek and Johnson Funeral Home. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Minor; brothers, Ben Minor and Stanley Minor; daughter, Latasha Lampton. 

He is survived by: sons Don (Tiffany) Hartzog, Joseph Hartzog and Christopher (Deana) Hartzog; mother of his children, Catherine Hartzog Gibbs of Bassfield; brother, David (Annette) Minor; sister, Delorse Minor; aunt, Maxie Jewel and many other relatives and friends.
