Isaac Lavelle “Bud” Parish departed this earthly life to live eternally with his Lord on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, at Asbury Hospice in Hattiesburg.  Mr. Parish, age 94, was born on May 11, 1927, to Breland and Lura Lee Polk Parish.

Mr. Parish spent his career working as a Lineman for Mississippi Power and Light for over 30 years.  Having a passion for the outdoors, Bud considered himself a farmer and loved to fish.  He loved his family and was especially fond of his grandchildren. Mr. Parish was a member of Phalti Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.

Mr. Parish was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Joyce Parish.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Stephen Parish (Svetlana) of Moscow, Russia; one brother, James Parish (Nancy) of Prentiss and two grandsons, Matthew Parish and Nick Parish.  He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
