Children in the community will have a festive place to visit this year in Prentiss for the Halloween weekend. Prentiss Police Officer Debbie Rider has decorated the Ice House on Front Street with ghosts, goblins, clowns and more.

“We wanted to do something in the community for the kids,” said Rider. “There isn’t a whole lot to do so we thought this might bring some entertainment and joy to the trick-or-treaters and their families.”

The front porch of the Ice House is geared toward the younger children, while the the “haunted courtyard” in the back will be for older children and adults.
