Prentiss aldermen set public hearing for zoning requests

The Board of Aldermen for the Town of Prentiss met for the first meeting of the month Tuesday night at Prentiss City Hall. All five aldermen and the mayor were present. After prayer, the board approved the November minutes and the claims docket in the amount of $32,036.50.

The board also approved publishing the following CDBG requirements in The Prentiss Headlight: Notice of Finding of no Significant Impact, Notice of Intent to Request for Release of Funds and Final Notice and Public Explanation of a Proposed Activity in the 100-year Floodplain.

A public hearing was set Jan. 4 at 5:30 for re-zoning and variance requests for 1206 Berry Street and 2429 Columbia Ave before the meeting was adjourned.
