The Town of Prentiss has received a community development block grant (CDBG) in the amount of $450,000 from the state of Mississippi. The CDBG program allows municipalities to apply and compete for water and waste water project funding. The application was submitted for renovations to the waste water treatment lagoon and equipment located off Old Hwy 13 across from Rock Hill Estates Subdivision. Work is planned to begin this spring and be complete by the end of 2022.
