Trees still available at the JDC Soil and Water Conservation Office

Trees that were pre-ordered through the Jefferson Davis County Soil and Water Conservation District will be available for pick up on Jan. 31 through Feb. 2 at the USDA Office. The office is located at 714 Columbia Ave. in Prentiss and is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A limited number of trees are still available for sale at $3 each:  Chinquapin, Bald Cypress, Sawtooth Oak, Mayhaw, Catalpa, Red Mulberry, Persimmon, Chinese Chestnut, Tulip Poplar, Kousa Dogwood, Hardy Pecan and American Plum.

A limited number of fruit trees are also still available for sale at $9 each: Rio Grande Peach, Flordahome  Pear, Scarlet Beauty Plum, Pink Lady Apple and Granny Smith (Green) Apple.
