Sidney would allow the natural curvature of the root to serve as the handle of the walking stick while the remainder of the shaft would be carved and polished into a thing of beauty.  Many of Sidney’s friends have been gifted one of his canes through the years.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Saratoga.

Sidney was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Hilda Lane, his daughter, Gina Renee Martin and a brother, Marcus Lane.
