A log truck overturned this morning in Prentiss closing the on-ramp to Highway 184 at the Highway 13 and Highway 184 intersection. This is the second log truck accident this week in Prentiss. The driver was headed from Goss to Georgia Pacific in Monticello and turned from Highway 13 onto Highway 184. According to the driver, the bogie broke when he made the sharp turn onto Highway 184. The first accident was Monday afternoon on Highway 84 when a trailer load of timber broke free from the truck scattering logs and debris down the highway. No injuries were reported in either accident.
