Graveside services were held Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Green Grove Baptist Church for Mr. Henry Louis Johnson, Jr., 59, who died Sunday, April 24, 2022 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Rev. Gary Hawthorne officiated with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Henry Johnson was the tenth child of Henry Louis and Hazel Teen Durr Johnson. He attended J. E. Johnson and Prentiss High School.  He attended The Job Corps in Bristol, Tennessee. He moved to Gulfport, Mississippi and worked for Gulf Coast Prestress Construction, Pass Christian, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Harold Johnson and Walter Johnson; close friend, Denise Barnes.

He is survived by: six sisters and six brothers: Marsha McInnis, Larry (Linda) Johnson, Daisy (Calvin) Newsome, Richard (Rose) Johnson, Gregory Johnson and Terry Johnson all of Prentiss, MS; Rufus (Teresa) Johnson of Daytona Beach, FL, Charles (Denise) Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, Betty (Vic) Sexton of Jackson, MS, Sharon Johnson of Marlboro, MD, Veroinca Moses of Atlanta, GA and Brenda (Gary) Hawthorne of Biloxi, MS; many other relatives and friends.
