Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at Sweet Water CME Church in Bassfield, for Mrs. Gail Price-Jenkins, 58, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at her residence. Dr. Jason McLeod officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gail Price-Jenkins was born to the late Neal Price and Elosie Keys-Price. Mrs. Jenkins worked over 25+ years for Ochner’s Medical Center until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, plants, and was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Gail (Corky) Price, Gulfport; son, Vincent (Jovan) Jenkins, Boutte, Louisiana; sisters, Mary (Louis) Magee, Bassfield; Diane Price, Bassfield; Sabrina (David) Price-Brooks, Bassfield; brothers, Robert (Lessie) Price, Bassfield; Jasper Price, Bassfield; John Earl Price, Florida; three grandchildren, Kamari Price, Kordae Fluker, and Liam Jenkins and many other relatives and friends.
