Prentiss traffic stop ends in drug arrest

Drugs are off the street after officers with the Prentiss Police Department stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at the intersection of Berry Street and Budd Street yesterday around noon. During the stop, the officer located 60 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle. The suspect, Terry Williams, was taken into custody and booked into the Jefferson Davis County jail. He was charged with trafficking of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Robyn Rogers was also taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, as well as multiple traffic citations.
