Scholarship opportunities are now available to Jefferson Davis County High School and Prentiss Christian seniors through the Mississippi Municipal League.

Seniors wishing to apply for a $2,000 general or limited scholarship through the MML and Mississippi Municipal Service Company can contact City Hall in Prentiss for more information and an application.

The MML High School Scholarship Program provides three scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each for high school seniors in Mississippi who plan to attend an accredited community college, college or university in Mississippi. The General Scholarship is open to all high school seniors and is co-sponsored by Mississippi Power Company.

The deadline for entries is Friday, May 26, 2023. “Please share with any eligible students in order to take advantage of this opportunity,” said Prentiss Mayor Charley Dumas.
