Funeral services were held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Ruby K. Johnson Chapel in Prentiss, for Mr. N. M. Hathorn III, 26, who passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at his residence. Rev. Henry Allen McCullum officiated with interment following in Wheeler Cemetery in Bassfield. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. N. M. Hathorn III is the son of Mrs. Antoinette Turner and the late N. M. Hathorn. He worked at Walmart. He loved tattoo artwork, sports cars, and a collector of firearms. He enjoyed hanging with friends and listening to music.

He is survived by his mother, Antoinette Hathorn Turner (Willie), Bay Springs; siblings, James Gordon, Bassfield; Sincere Surry, Los Angeles, California; Rionnisha Willard, Los Angeles, California; Nanette M. Hathorn, Gulfport; grandmother, Rosie Gonsales and many other relatives and friends.
