Jefferson Davis County School district has announced the dates for its free summer meal program.  The summer feeding program is for kids and teens 18 and under and will be available from June 5 through July 6. Breakfast and Lunch will be served at two locations in the district. Breakfast will be served at Jefferson Davis Middle School in Prentiss from 7 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until noon.

Meals will also be served at G. W. Elementary School in Bassfield with breakfast being served from 6:30 am until 7:45 a.m. Lunch will be served at Carver from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.

All meals must be eaten in the cafeteria. There are no grab-and-go meals.
