Danny Sinclair of Prentiss was awarded the Outstanding Wildlife Conservationist for Area 3 at the Mississippi Association of Conservation Districts Area 3 Summer Meeting held in Vancleave last month.

The state is divided into four areas, Central, Delta, South and North.  Each area submits names of individuals in that they feel have done a good job with the natural resources in their area to receive awards.

The Jefferson Davis County Soil and Water Conservation District nominated Sinclair because they feel he does a great job at keeping his Jefferson Davis County land for wildlife and conserving natural resources.

He was chosen by a committee for this award. His name will be submitted along with the winners in the other three areas for an overall state award. If chosen, he will be recognized at the state meeting in January.
