Live music, food and celebration of hot Mississippi summertime is all happening this Saturday at Beaver Creek Distillery.
“We’ll have the ‘nearly famous’ strawberry lemonade made with moonshine and the popular peach verbena gin, along with other small batch crafted spirits,” said owner Rhonda Phillips. “We also have more of the Mississippi sweet potato moonshine ready too.”
This month’s special event, Red, Hot and Blues, is part of Spirit Saturdays at Beaver Creek. The event will start at 2 p.m. and last until 7 p.m.
The store at the distillery is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. It features Mississippi and southern gifts along with Beaver Creek Distillery t-shirts, caps and spirits. Wholesale opportunities are available.
This fall the distillery will pick back up with its Books and Gin series, featuring Mississippi novelists.
Beaver Creek Distillery is a small-batch, family-owned distillery. They produce spirits using locally sourced ingredients and traditional distilling techniques. The distillery also offers tours, tasting flights and private events.
