After the Prentiss parade, head down to Bassfield for Christmas in the Park.

Christmas in the Park will be held in Faler Park. The theme is “A Country Christmas.”

“There will be food, games, raffles, a slide, an obstacle course and more,” said Bassfield Mayor Angie Ladner. “Something for the whole family.”

Wristbands will be available for $5 which can be used for the train, slide, obstacle course and selfies with Santa.

Wristbands are good for the entire day for unlimited rides. A raffle will also be held for cash and prizes.

Wristbands and raffle tickets can be purchased in advance at Bassfield City Hall.

The Bassfield Christmas Parade will begin at 2 p.m. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries. Grand Marshal for the parade will be James “Slim” Hinton.

A fireworks display will conclude the evening and is open to the public. For more information or to participate in the parade, contact Bassfield CIty Hall at 601-943-5424.
