Due to the threat of severe weather, especially high winds in the morning, all JDC schools and Prentiss Christian School will be closed tomorrow.

“We do not want our bus and vans or our student drivers trying to get to school in dangerous weather and get stuck on roadways with trees down around them,” said Prentiss Christian Head of School Josh Bowen.

Severe storms are expected in the area from 7 a.m. until noon followed by an elevated threat of strong wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour throughout the day.

Travel may be difficult for high profile vehicles and power outages are a possibility.
