Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Jones Chapel Baptist Church in Collins, for Miss Derisa Monique Ainsworth, 47, who died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at her residence. Rev. Alfred Austin officiated with interment following in the church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Ainsworth was born to the late John L. and Hattie Lee Ainsworth in Covington County. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alfred Ainsworth, Darius Ainsworth, son, Zachary Porter and great nephew, Ja’von Smith.

She is survived by her children, Zingha Porter and Za’Kayy Porter; ex-husband, Kenny Loftin; brother, John (Linda) Ainsworth; sisters, April (Johnny) Reese and Santana (Brian) Maze and many other relatives and friends.
