Funeral services were held November 27, 2013, at Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss, for Mrs. Melissa Hutchison Moree, age 44, of Petal, who passed away on November 24 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Interment followed at Santee Baptist Church Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Tony Bagley officiated. Pallbearers were David Williams, Brauvin Mora, Scott King, Stacey Collins, Francisco Valles and Bryce Rink.

Mrs. Melissa Ann Hutchison Moree was born on July 17, 1969 in Jackson. She was the daughter of O.B. Hutchison and Melodye Myers Williams. She attended barber school and had worked as a clerk in a convenience store. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Moree is survived by her husband, Brian Moree of Columbia; her son, Christian Herrin of Ruth; her mother and step-father, Melodye Williams (David) of Hattiesburg; her father and step-mother, O.B. Hutchison (Clara) of Carson; her brother, Daniel Hutchison of Carson; and her sisters, Brandie Valles of Poplarville and Sara Williams of Petal.

Her half-brother preceded her in death.
