Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 17, 2014, at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss for Mrs. Sheila Ann Stephens, age 60, who passed away on August 17 at her residence in Prentiss. Interment followed at Carson Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

Rev. Mike Sutton officiated. Pallbearers were Doug Patterson, David Evers, David Miller, Earl Mikell, Charles Reid, Kenneth Houston Stephens, Chuck Pruitt and Kyle Brackeen.

Sheila was born on September 30, 1953, in Pascagoula. She was the daughter of Leslie Rowell, Sr. and Marylou Pruitt. She attended Bethany Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Stephens of Prentiss; her son, Lamar Brackeen of Manchester, TN; two daughters, Sheena Ducharme of Lakeview, FL, and Christina Harkness of Monticello; her stepson, Kenneth Houston Stephens of Petal; her stepdaughter, Kim Patterson of Columbia; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Leslie Rowell of Petal, Artis Ray Hester and Kenneth Hester both of Prentiss; two sisters, Rita Dungan of Prentiss and Francis Smith of Carson.

Her parents preceded her in death.
